DESCRIPTION:November 12 – November 17\n\n\n\nI am HPC \n\n\nhttps://sc23.supercomputing.org \n\n\nThe Ecosystem for Research Networking (ERN) is designing and implementing a prototype open source\, edge computing platform to democratize access to scientific research instruments\, provide networking research computing resources including quantum computing\, handle massive data sets produced by research instruments such as cryogenic electron microscopes (cryo-EM)\, support computational and storage infrastructure. This developing project aims to promote collaborations in scientific discovery remotely accessing these remote instruments and resources by  reducing obstacles and challenges\, particularly for under-served and non-R1 institutions. The design leverages Open OnDemand\, containers\, instrument edge processing with “cloudlets”\, Cryo-SPARC and FABRIC.
