The ERN perfSONAR mesh is a tool for identifying and diagnosing network throughput and delay issues across nine statewide research networks in the Northeast. It is also a useful starting point for developing a regional data DMZ. The mesh currently includes more than 25 perfSONAR nodes spanning nine states.
